Located on the northern edge of the Black Hills in South Dakota and Wyoming, the multigenerational cattle ranch operates where it has since 1883. The ranch includes a cow/calf operation where the cattle spend the summer on Black Hills National Forest Grazing Permits. The ranch also includes a backgrounding feedlot and haying operation of alfalfa, grass and small grains. The social media channels and pages are managed by the 6thGeneration on the Ranch, Carson Sleep and his wife Damaris. He works alongside his parents, Jeff and Jodi, grandparents, Richard and Karen, and ranch hand, Jaques. Many other family members and friends join in on the fun and hard work along the way. Carson’s mission with social media is to show that ranching isn’t just a job, it’s a way of life! And it makes for a very good life with a loving family, a supportive country and faith in Christ.
