Major Talent was founded in 2022 by Tim den Hoed. Tim is a retired Air Force Veteran
that understands the challenges of transitioning into the civilian workforce. Our vision is
to create a better experience for Veterans looking for employment and for Companies
wanting to hire Veterans.
Our Veteran’s experience starts with objectively translating their military careers into a
language that Companies hiring Veterans understand. We provide our Vets with a
skills-based resume and the opportunity to practice interviewing as often as they would
like for whichever type of position they are pursuing. Our Job map allows Veterans to
visually see what jobs are open in their area on a map. Because most Veterans have
never written a resume or interviewed, these are a couple of critical tools to equip them
with.
The experience we provide for employers intentionally wanting to hire Vets, is to give
them access to veteran candidates and military spouses. The Veteran profiles that
companies have access to, have been translated to industry terminology. We also
capture areas of Veteran's careers that will identify industrial competencies where they
may excel mechanically and electrically. This will help employers hire Veterans into their
training programs. We make this process simple by offering options to companies that
align with their Veteran recruitment goals. Finally, we have built in a mapping option that
allows employers to get their jobs on an interactive map directly in front of our Vets.
