Ben Evers is the Founder of Farm Focused. He grew up in rural Nebraska as the son of a police officer and an entrepreneur. Ben's parents also had a passion for show horses and spent much of their off work time developing an operation behind those horses. "Living in the country had such a huge influence on me as a boy and young man. I am who I am today because of that rural environment I grew up in." After high school Ben went on to the University of Nebraska to study business. Following in his parents entrepreneurial footsteps he was determined to make his way on his own. Directly out of college Ben entered into a management training program with a national auto parts supplier. "The experience I gained and the lessons I learned in that job were pivotal for what I would take on in the future." After a number of years with that company and moving his family all over the country, Ben decided it was time to cut bait and head back home to start a business. Farm Focused was born. Initially started to bring mostly unknown efficiencies to the farm, the company soon expanded into branding, merchandising, and bringing farm families gear and products they can be proud to represent. "Today, along with my wife, we run the biggest and most effective farm merchandising brand in the country. Countless youtube and social media personalities have trusted us to represent them and help develop their brands. We are so grateful for those folks taking a chance on us and couldn't be more proud to work with them." With two daughters in college and a son starting middle school, Ben stays busy in his free time chasing them around to sports activities, working on the farm, and manning the grill at home. "There is always something to do and I am always working on ways to make us more effective in both our day to day operation and in how we will have continued growth. Our next major target is the outdoors. We see a need for the same services we offer the farm and ranch world to be offered to the outdoor community. That new venture will be called Stock & Rod. We are so excited to put continued focus on Farm Focused while at the same time grow this new thing, Stock & Rod." Long term? Ben doesn't see much past the next couple of years. "Things are constantly changing so I really don't see the need to talk about where I want to be in the next 5, 10, 20 years. What I do see the need to do though is plan out where I do not want to be. That is all the motivation I need to stay on track"
